The Ripsaw Hiatus

When I was about seven years old I was at a Girl Scouts meeting that I didn't even want to go to. We were doing an exercise to demonstrate memory, politeness, and people skills by each taking turns being a "waitress" taking the other girls' orders and then serving them plastic food specific to their demands. I messed up everybody's order and all the girls got mad at me and laughed as they pelted me with plastic food. Even my mom laughed at me. And if I had to describe my life now, I'd say that day at Girl Scouts would be foreshadowing how I was going to feel everyday afterwards for the next 15 years... So, yeah. Hey, where are you going?! Come back!

Oh man, I just came across this picture, and it effectively ruined my day. Castle Park, may you rest in peace. You provided hours of entertainment up until the day you were torn down and replaced with that modern atrocity they call a “play ground.” :’(
